How do you get prepared?

Getting prepared to complete a task at the office or to win a sport competition is very important. It requires employees and athletes to take the time to reflect beforehand on which strengths are available to them and which obstacles can go on their way. It is not a waste of time to do so. It is not thinking too much. It is about having a plan to perform at our best and at the most important moment. Some athletes relying a lot on their ‘instinct’ prefer not to do so. The challenge is to help them to understand that a mixture between preparation and instinct remains the best option for them.
